I love the rainy day episode of O.C. Season Two.

I've been Aberdeeneering for a while. I've been assigned the position of logistics controls. It's a fun job.

I may have fallen in love.

I went to the opera alone this evening as part of a class assignment. I got dressed up. I bought a double americano and swallowed it down within four minutes because I couldn't bring it into the cathedral. I didn't know it was not proper to bring a date to the opera. I had to pee so badly. I ran back to the lobby and asked the ushers for directions to the restrooms.
"Through these doors, along the pews, through the second door, into the back-lobby and make a left."

I saw him in the back lobby and blushed; the show was about to begin and here I was getting in their way.
"I'll fait chaud, la," is what I heard him say. I ran back up the stairs and returned to my pew.

The characters introduced themselves. He played Tamino, the prince. He wore all white and a braided headband. His hair was blonde and choppy. He was so french; his english was rehearsed but charming. This would give me the chance to impress him with my francais quebecois.

I was captivated by him. Him and his character's quest for true love.

After three bows and a resounding applause, I raced down the steps to the back-lobby. All I wanted to say was "Felicitations. Je l'ai bien aime," and see where it could go from there. All I really wanted was to smile at him.

He was nowhere to be found. I saw the princess, I saw the queen of the night, and I saw the wise sage, but I did not see the prince.

I wish I knew how to use accents on my macbook.

okay. in the last few months i've:

-... OH MY GOD, i'm being so vague. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR JOURNAL SITTING FOR TOO LONG. which means i'll try to use this more reguarly.

i don't think i spelled LAUGHTER correctly. but no other way seems logical. maybe i'm just a little tired.
i woke up early this morning and walked home from Brendan's house. last night he cooked me this...meal of steak, kale, and onions. it wa surprisingly good. we went to the beach and sent a log into the ocean. we climbed rocks. then we went back and watched the second to last episode of Band of Brothers. it was hard to watch. Easy (EZ?) Company found an abandoned concentration camp after the Germans retreated. they hadn't even known there was such a thing. and they thought this was the only one. Roosevelt died, Hitler died. there's only one episode left.
bringing it back to jews though....
we are going to be celebrating rosh hashannah on saturday. so bring your apples and honey!!

ps. i finally got a winter coat. and i found out that bunnies love salty crackers.

heather and i woke up and complained about everything.

when i was walking back to my room i may have thrown up a tiny little bit in my mouth.
and it's not just because i'm feeling sick.

i can't begin to explain my "shopping angst"
i want and i need clothes. and not my usual thrift store clothing.
i'm just going to go shopping tomorrow after my classes because they end early.
i was going to go this morning before class but i slept in.

i also have the biggest zit i've maybe ever had in the very middle of my forehead.

i got a new bag.
it's fucking mortifying but i've really grown attatched to it.
it's shaped like a tapedeck and it plays my ipod through the speakers.
but rheanne's right, it's like having my own soundtrack.

we played it while we snuck out of english class and then as i dashed through annelise's house with rheanne as my getaway vehicle.
well, SHE wasn't the vehicle, her car was.
